Our Philosophy

At Dropshot Tennis, we provide high quality tennis lessons in a great atmosphere to learn the sport as well as develop connections with coaches and other players. We want to develop athletes with good qualities to succeed in other parts of life as well as a tennis player. We will ensure that our players are consistently challenged in order to keep motivation levels high to develop new coping techniques and learn new strategies.

Director
Ahmed Shebl

Ahmed joins Dropshot Tennis Academy, bringing in a wealth of experience as a top level player and coach. He was one of the top NCAA, Division 1 players during his playing years, and won National tournaments in Canada as a player as well. He was one of the coaches at Toronto Tennis Academy, where he was responsible for the High performance group with many of his students competing at the highest level as well as earning NCAA scholarships

Mostafa Shebl

Head Coach, Mostafa, has been a top level tennis player since the age of 5 where he was part of the National team, participating in many national as well as international tournaments during his junior years. He has helped Canadian junior player, Reece Carter, get into the top 5 ranking for under 14 girls, as well as be part of the Canadian national team in their recent tours. Mostafa enjoys coaching all levels and ages, and leads a team of young and energetic coaches who follow his teaching philosophy. Mostafa currently teaches a group of top ranked junior players as part of the program

Marwan

Marwan has been a National tennis player since the age of 10 and played against current world number 8 Denis Shapovalov in many tournaments in Canada. He was a top 5 junior player in Canada and participated in many international tournaments as well. He has a vast knowledge and love for the game of Tennis and is always excited to help players improve their game and have fun
